Eastside Runners Club

Track workouts are held every Wednesday night at 6 o’clock. During high school soccer season (September-October) and (February-May) we will meet at local junior high tracks, most likely Kirkland Middle School. During the other half of the year, we meet at Lake Washington High School, 12033 NE 80th Street in Kirkland.

The workout links will be posted on our calendar. Workouts are designed to prepare runners for racing distances from 5K to marathon. A pace chart for each workout outlining the goal pace based on your current fitness will be posted each week. Before we start running, everyone is assigned to groups so they can work together.

Runners should arrive early to thoroughly warm up prior to the start time. Runners from beginners to some of the top racers in the area take part. It is a non-competitive and fun way to improve your speed.

Carl Kadie filmed a short video of a condensed track workout and posted it on YouTube titled "One Minute Track Workout".

  • To be included you must sign up for each week, so be sure to add yourself to the 'Track' email group so you'll get the signup.
  • Nonmembers are welcome to come try a workout with us by emailing membership@eastsiderunners.com for the signup.
