Restrooms  Restrooms and water fountains at the bathhouse, and on the way Ballard locks and at the end at Discovery Park.

Breakfast   Portage Bay cafe near Ballard locks.

Routes:  

3.5~4 Mile: this flat route goes from Golden Gardens park to Ballard locks along Burke Gilman.

6 Miles : Reach Ballard locks and cross the locks and as you exit the locks, bear right and immediately turn left on 33rd Ave, use the bicycle bridge and follow 32nd ave. Turn right on Government way to Discovery Park visitor center and back. Around 400 ft elevation gain and loss.

9 Miles : Add a 3 mile loop within Discovery Park. Follow signs for Loop trail from the visitor center to reach the trail. Clockwise run climbs more quickly compared to the anti clockwise. Additional 300 ft elevation gain and loss.
