Saturday Morning Run - Centennial Trail

Directions:

From I-405N, take exit 23 to Woodinville and get on WA-522 E (About 8.8 miles from NE 8th St, Bellevue). Continue 3.7 miles and exit to WA-9 N. After 9.6 miles take the exit to Snohomish and get on 2nd St. After about 450 ft of being on 2nd St take a right onto 1st St. Follow the road about 0.8 miles to just out of downtown and past Maple Ave. The trailhead is on 1st St and halfway between Maple Ave and Willow Ave, so just park on the street and meet at the trailhead. There is a porta potty at the beginning of the trailhead.

Course Description:

  1. Start/Finish: Beginning of Centennial Trail on 1st St (porta potty at trailhead)
  2. Run NE, crossing streets (Pearl St, Rainier St, & Bowen St) when safe to do so
  3. 0.2 miles: Wait at 2nd St till lights allow you to cross and continue North
  4. Run North, crossing streets (3rd St & 4th St) when safe to do so
  5. 0.7 mile: At 6th St on the south side is another porta potty. Continue North, crossing street when safe to do so and road will bend NE
  6. Run NE, crossing streets (Pine Ave, 10th St) when safe to do so
Trail is an out and back run that goes out 30 miles so if you want to ride a bike this trail is great. Some markers for different distances are:

  • 1.1 miles out (2.2 miles total) - Trail intersects 10th St
  • 1.9 miles out (3.8 miles total) - Trail intersects Three Lakes Rd
  • 2.5 miles out (5.0 miles total) - Trail runs under US Hwy 2 Stevens Pass Hwy
  • 2.9 miles out (5.8 miles total) - Trail intersects Bunk Foss Rd
  • 4.0 miles out (8.0 miles total) - Trail intersects Dubuque Rd
  • 4.5 miles out (9.0 miles total) - Trail intersects 28th St SE
