Saturday Morning Run - Green Lake

Driving Directions: Greenlake, Seattle, Wa

From I-5 South, at Exit 171, take ramp right for 6th Avenue NE toward 71st Street/NE 65th Street.  Turn right onto NE 72nd Street.  Arrive at E. Green Lake Dr N and into the Green Lake Park.

From SR-520W, take ramp right for I-5 North toward Vancouver BC.  At Exit 170, take ramp right for Ravenna Blvd toward NE 65th Street.  Turn left onto NE Ravenna Blvd.  Turn right onto E. Green Lake Dr N. and into the Green Lake Park.

Parking: There is parking available in the main parking lot off E Green Lake Drive or off street parking. To avoid getting an unexpected parking ticket be aware that some of the street parking spots may start charging in the morning. Meet at the gymnasium (which houses the swimming pool) in the park.  The gymnasium is on the side of the park that faces the Super Jock N Jill/Starbucks stores.  There is a parking lot and basketball courts on each side of the gymnasium.  We’ll meet in the grass area next to the parking lot.

Run starts at 8:30am

Suggested Course:  There are 2 loops that surround Green Lake. The outside loop is 3.1 miles, and the inside loop is 2.7 miles. You can choose to run a lap or laps around the lake.  There is also an 8- mile course available as well. Green Lake is pet friendly, so bring along your furry friends along!
