Please join us for the ESR General Meeting at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday, September 26th at Movement Systems PT (8435 SE 68th St., Mercer Island). This meeting will focus on what a recent unscientific polling of ESR members revealed as the most current and common injury amongst us. We will be privileged to have Erik Bies DPT (Doctor of Physical Therapy) MS (Masters in Exercise Physiology and Kinesiology) and USATF Certified Coach and Andrea Trask DPT (Doctor in Physical Therapy) and OCS (Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist) present to us: "Butt wait--there's more: Your glutes, their friends and why they matter to runners!"
Erik specializes in orthopedic physical therapy and has a sub specialty working with runners of all ages and experience levels. He is a former NCAA All-American middle distance runner and NCAA cross country and track coach. He is a strong believer in individualized training and rehabilitation through empowering his clients and patients based on the their story, movement abilities, and their goals.
Andrea is a board-certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist with a passion for working with runners of all ability levels. Her interest in running athletes comes from her own experiences with recovering from recurrent injuries resulting from marathon training. She also likes blending her enthusiasm for women's health and running by helping new moms return to the sport postpartum.
Light refreshments will be provided. If you have any questions, please contact Larissa Uchiyama (firstname.lastname@example.org or via FB)
