The ESR general spring meeting will be held on Tuesday, April 8th in Meeting Room 2 at the Redmond Public Library from 7:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. Please join us to hear personal trainer and ESR member, Heather Yancey discuss why activating and stabilizing your core is key to running as well as how to develop and maintain core strength. She will demonstrate exercises that all runners should be performing consistently.
Heather Yancey is the owner of CoreFit Training located in Sammamish, WA. She focuses on functional core movement to strengthen the body, prevent injury and enhance performance. Crazy about all things physical, Heather is a local runner and just completed her first Ironman triathlon in November. When not training clients or working out, Heather can be found conditioning our youth as a part time PE specialist. Heather’s Certifications are ACE Group Fitness, Personal Trainer.
Wear comfortable, loose fitting clothing. Light refreshments will be provided.
